Barneys4Kids

All the Barneys4Kids programs run during the 10am Morning Service. Email our Families Minister Hayden Smith for more information or if you have any questions.
Creche
Creche is for babies aged 6 months (able to sit up) to 2 years. We run a special program within Creche called Pippies for the 2 year olds to provide them with a little bit more structure and opportunity to learn simple truths about God. Pippies children share a snack together (provided by parents).
Barniccles
Barniccles is a pre-school program for children from 3 years old. The children enjoy a variety of activities, including free play, games, Bible stories and craft. The children share morning tea together (provided by parents).
Swordfish
Swordfish is for primary-aged children from Kindergarten to Year 2. They enjoy large group games, learning about Jesus in both the large group and small group settings, craft activities and special projects. Morning tea is shared with the adults after the service. The children come into the service for a special all-in service once per term.
Barney Army
Barney Army is for primary-aged children from Year 3 to Year 7 (with the option of Year 7 students also attending the Youth Group on Sunday afternoons). The children are given the opportunity to explore the Christian faith through reading God's word and studying it together, both in the large group and small group settings. They share fun games and a growing sense of Christian community. Morning tea is shared with the adults after the service. The children come into the service for a special all-in service once per term.
Child Protection
Barneys is committed to the safety of children who attend our programs. All Barneys4Kids leaders complete Child Protection training through Anglican Youthworks, and all have signed a Prohibited Employment (Child Protection) Declaration.
