Series of the year: The King is the Issue
This is the message of Matthew: there is a King, and he has come. He has come just as God promised, God in man, Lord and baby, worshipped and vilified. He has come to save; he has come to forgive; he has come to rule; he will come to judge.
Therefore, for everyone on earth - every woman and man; mother, father, child, sibling; student, home-maker, professional, tradesperson - for everyone, there is only one issue. The King is the Issue.
This is the message of Matthew.

February: Work and the Glory of God
As the holidays come to an end and our regular work resumes, we're spending three weeks from 31 Jan-14 Feb looking at Work; at its glory, its brokenness, and its value in our world.
31 Jan | Work and the glory of God
7 Feb | Rest and the glory of God
14 Feb | Witness and the glory of God

January: Summer Sayings
For the first month of the year, while we've got time to think about the year past and the year ahead, we'll be getting wisdom from the Proverbs.
3 Jan | Words: 'The tongue has the power of life and death' (Proverbs 18:21)
10 Jan | Friendship: 'A friend loves at all times' (Proverbs 17:17)
17 Jan | The Poor: 'Kindness to the poor is a loan to the Lord' (Proverbs 19:17)
24 Jan | Pride: 'Pride goes before a fall' (Proverbs 16:18)
