You have heard of Sydney’s Seven Bridges Walk, well now there is the Barneys Seven Churches Walk. This event will be held on Saturday 18 September 2010 in inner Sydney to raise funds to rebuild the iconic St Barnabas Church, Broadway.
Barneys is one of Sydney’s most historic churches and was destroyed by fire in 2006. Construction starts on the new church in August 2010 and is due for completion in late 2011.
But funds are still needed to complete the community spaces which will be part of the new building.
Help us achieve our goal of raising $250,000 towards rebuilding Barneys
You can be part of this important community fund raising event in one of two ways:
- Join us on for the walk and invite your family, friends, work mates and neighbours to sponsor you
- Sponsor a friend, colleague or relative who is completing the walk
